About The Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer, particularly in early to mid-stage startups. You should have a track record of deploying code to production and taking ownership of your work from the definition phase through customer testing. In this role, you will be responsible for a specific domain and will lead its architecture to ensure it scales with the business.

You will collaborate closely with our product team to develop, test, and deploy new features that add value for our customers. A strong bias towards action is essential. Effective communication is also key, as your colleagues value your ability to share your work and seek feedback when necessary. You should be capable of giving and receiving constructive feedback in a respectful manner, continually striving for improvement.

What Is Our Interview Process?

• People Screening: We want to understand your experience.
• Pair Programming Interview: You will work with one of our engineers to review code and create a small prototype to solve a specific business problem.
• Engineering Manager Interview: An engineering manager will chat with you to learn more about your leadership experience.
• Software Design Interview: You will be given a business problem and asked to design the architecture for implementing a specific functionality. You will need to navigate uncertainty by asking the right questions, defining constraints, and considering trade-offs and limitations.
