About the Role

As a backend engineer at Blend, you will design, implement, and maintain Blend’s vision for composable origination through our next-gen configurable workflow builder.

Note: This is a remote position, but ideally, you would be based in the Mexico City area.

How You'll Contribute

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and code.
• Work with product managers to implement new features and enhancements.
• Design and develop scalable applications with a focus on maintainability and security.
• Identify and resolve software defects and issues promptly.
• Promote best practices by participating in code reviews and providing peer mentorship.
• Innovate and propose new ideas, building features from inception to completion.

Who You Are

• You hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in developing high-quality production software.
• You are an excellent communicator and can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, successfully driving projects to completion.
• You are skilled in backend development using tools like Node.js, TypeScript, or Golang.
• You have experience with databases such as Postgres, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• You have a strong understanding of design and architecture principles, with a proven ability to implement scalable solutions.
