About the Role:

Build the platform behind the world’s most extensive startup engagement programs. YouNoodle is seeking a talented Front-end Engineer to join our global team of coders, hackers, and data enthusiasts. We support tens of thousands of startups through our global platform, striving to create the world’s largest innovation engine. We need a promising engineer to help scale our current products and develop the next big innovation.

What We're Looking For:

We need someone skilled in JavaScript and React, with a structured and tidy coding style. You should be ready to dive in and take charge where needed, whether it's optimizing the site’s performance or developing new user-facing features. You'll occasionally work on new platforms or languages, so we want someone fearless, versatile, curious, and eager to get the job done. This role offers significant independence and the chance to make a meaningful impact on our product.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product and engineering team on our web SaaS product, YouNoodle Compete.
• Develop new features, fix bugs, and perform testing, requiring strong investigative and logical skills.
• Assist both technical and non-technical team members with product issues and requests.

Desired Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Over 3 years of experience as a front-end engineer.
• Proficiency in the React framework, including the latest version and best practices.
• Experience with unit testing and code linting.
• Familiarity with design frameworks such as Material Design or Tailwind.
• A passion for writing neat, maintainable, and testable code.
• A love for solving complex engineering problems.
• The discipline to manage a flexible and remote workflow.
• A collaborative mindset, valuing teamwork over being right.
• A deep curiosity and a strong desire to learn.
• Fluency in English.
• Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
• Strong understanding of state management with Redux or Zustand.
• Knowledge of React Query/TanStack Query.
• Experience with React Hook Form.
• Familiarity with Firebase.
• Experience with Laravel or PHP.
• Background as a backend/full stack engineer.
• Familiarity with Turborepo.
