What will you do?

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the buildout and evolution of the company’s platform, helping shape and grow their technology in exciting ways.

• Develop new features and functionality on their Vue.js single-page apps, leveraging their API.
• Support and enhance existing platforms used by thousands of businesses daily.
• Lead by example as a passionate, dedicated technologist, always looking for optimal solutions.
• Collaborate with the UX team to build reusable, responsive components.
• Optimize page load performance using best practices.
• Participate in critical software design decisions that will have lasting impacts on the platform.
• Stay up-to-date on modern technologies and advocate for their use where relevant.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility for all major modern browsers.
• Collaborate with multiple agile teams to deliver products from concept to delivery.
• Deliver high-quality UI/UX experiences.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor engineering, QA, operations, and product teams.
• Help define, document, and promote high engineering standards and best practices.
• Move swiftly and decisively, treating technical debt as your enemy.

What will help you succeed?

• 5+ years of experience building rich, complex, and evolving front-end user experiences with Vue.js.
• Proven track record of practical, thoughtful problem-solving.
• Experience working on high-traffic, international systems.
• Extensive experience with HTML and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Deep understanding and experience with CSS and preprocessors.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex, Mobx).
• Experience in agile environments.
• Advanced experience with client-side unit testing (e.g., Jest, Sinon, Chai).
• Interest in working on innovative digital platforms.
