Role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to oversee our infrastructure, ensure high availability, and optimize application performance. This role involves automating infrastructure deployment, ensuring system security through cloud solutions, and communicating technical solutions to various internal stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day infrastructure with a focus on high availability and performance.
• Automate virtual infrastructure deployment and configuration.
• Present solutions and technical decisions to senior leadership and end-users.
• Explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders at different expertise levels.
• Oversee build, release, and configuration management processes.
• Design disaster recovery strategies and assist with business continuity planning.
• Troubleshoot and solve platform and application issues.
• Ensure system security using advanced cloud security solutions.
• Work independently to complete tasks, report progress, identify obstacles, and proactively address issues.

Requirements

• Expertise in AWS cloud management services (EC2, S3, RDS, A/ELB, EBS, VPC, Route53).
• Strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve, and document root cause analysis in complex environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux systems.
• In-depth knowledge of database configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with security design and implementation.
• Proficiency with IaaS orchestration and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or SaltStack).
• Experience automating deployment for various frameworks (PHP, Laravel, NodeJS, Java, Python).
• Expertise in containerization concepts and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to implement full CI/CD pipelines through automation.
• Strong technical writing skills for documenting architecture, application stacks, networks, and security processes.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools to provide meaningful data to management and senior DevOps engineers.
