Solutions Engineer
As a Solutions Engineer at GumGum, you will serve as a key technical expert, helping solve challenges related to publisher integration. This role requires a deep understanding of the needs of the strategic partnerships team and its customers. You will handle technical issues, ranging from basic to mid-level complexity, and contribute to creating documentation. This role requires proficiency in managing technical discrepancies and a solid grasp of the processes and technologies used to optimize relationships with publishers, ad inventory, and revenue.
What You'll Achieve
- Support the North America Publisher Success team by addressing technical issues, including ad placements, advanced metrics reporting, and discrepancies.
- Provide technical pre-sales support for the North America Publisher Partnerships team.
- Lead technical calls for onboarding and troubleshooting publishers.
- Advocate for the Publisher team’s needs to the Product/Engineering teams.
- Influence product decisions and priorities by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Resolve JIRA tickets from the Publisher Support queue promptly.
- Develop best practice documentation and educational materials.
- Use data analysis and technical expertise to solve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with teams in JAPAC and EMEA for knowledge sharing.
Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in technical support and troubleshooting.
- Preferred experience in AdTech and SSPs.
- Proficiency with Web Developer Tools.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with ad servers/SSPs like Google Ad Manager and Xandr.
- Knowledge of auction-based ad-serving methodologies like OpenRTB and Header bidding.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented, solution-focused, resourceful, and independent.
- Strong ownership mentality and ability to perform under pressure.
