About the Project:

As a Senior Java Engineer on the Partner Integrations Squad, you'll have the chance to lead a team that develops and maintains distributed, event-driven microservices using Java and Kubernetes. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who want to practice cloud-native engineering "the right way." You'll have numerous opportunities to grow as a leader and advance your career beyond just technical skills.

Our team is deeply rooted in cloud-native principles. We utilize value-added AWS services like Aurora, DynamoDB, and MSK, deploying multiple times per day.

Our fully automated CI/CD pipelines perform tests (without manual QA), conduct load tests, send out release notes and notifications, roll back on errors, etc.

We are currently migrating towards a global platform where we will manage global enforcement and platform services. We maintain a helpful and friendly atmosphere and are always learning. If you're looking to work with an efficient team using cutting-edge techniques and technologies in a happy, easy-going work environment, this is the place for you.

You Will:

  • Drive architecture and design initiatives for the Integrations team.
  • Promote engineering best practices within the team and cultivate an environment where these standards are consistently met.
  • Mentor junior engineers to support their career growth.
  • Implement distributed, event-driven microservices in Java.
  • Represent the team in architectural, design, and technical meetings with stakeholders.
  • Present new services and major features to our Architecture Review Board for approval.

What Will Help You Succeed in This Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience working with Java.
  • More than 4 years of experience with Kotlin.
  • At least 2 years of experience with microservices.
  • Over 2 years of experience with Kubernetes.
  • At least 2 years of experience with AWS.
  • Advanced proficiency in English is required, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver optimal solutions and broaden your horizons.

Here's What You Can Expect from Our Hiring Process:

  • We'll discuss your experience during an interview with our recruiters.
  • If everything goes well, we'll set up a technical interview with our top developers to assess your skills.
  • If you progress to the next stage, you'll have the opportunity to meet our client and potentially join our fantastic team!
