The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the NICE CXone software platform. This role involves working across all tiers of the technology stack, including (but not limited to) designing and developing features, unit testing, conducting code reviews, resolving defects during QA, supporting the production environment, and assisting other developers within an agile team environment.

As a Sr. Software Engineer, a typical day might include:

• Collaborating with an agile team to improve software solutions.
• Designing and presenting projects aimed at enhancing current processes and the platform overall.
• Writing and testing code for various projects.
• Managing time effectively while working on multiple concurrent projects.
• Delivering high-quality software within set deadlines.
• Attending meetings and training as needed.
• Working closely with system analysts and product management to ensure successful project completion.
• Leading or mentoring other developers, providing key technical skills, and sharing knowledge with the team.
• Serving as a Technical or Team Lead when required.

To Land This Gig You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in software languages such as C#, ASP.NET, Java, and Angular.
• Experience with NGRX and RXjs libraries.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite (.NET Framework, Visual Studio).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of unit testing.
• Familiarity with user stories or use cases.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Experience:

• Experience working with SQL Server or equivalent databases.
• Familiarity with TFS.
• Knowledge of the agile development process.
• Experience working with call centers.
