We are seeking Software Engineering Leaders who are enthusiastic about emerging technologies. You'll have the opportunity to be at the forefront of modernizing a banking core that handles over $60 billion in annual transaction volume for more than 100 million active payment cards for one of the world's largest credit card issuers.

You'll play a key role in driving a major transformation within our client, a leading global financial institution.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering (excluding internship experience)
• At least 4 years of experience with Python
• At least 3 years of experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS)
• At least 4 years of experience in people management
• At least 2 years of recent experience with observability, monitoring, and telemetry tools (OpenTelemetry, Sentry, Splunk, Grafana)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree
• Over 8 years of experience in at least one of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, or Go
• A background with hands-on experience in DevOps and/or site reliability engineering is a strong advantage

What You'll Do:

• Lead a portfolio of diverse observability technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to create solutions that meet the company's regulatory needs
• Share your passion for staying current with tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal and external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering team, and occasionally coding or reviewing code
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that provide powerful experiences to help millions achieve financial empowerment
• Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go; work with open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases; employ container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes; and leverage a variety of AWS tools and services
