We are seeking a Senior Backend Integration Engineer with extensive experience in JavaScript and AWS to join an exciting project for a healthcare client based in the USA.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design and develop core components and modules of the healthcare platform as a full-stack engineer.
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and Product Management to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for the development team.
• Review pull requests from team members and provide valuable feedback.
• Lead and contribute to product feature initiatives on both architectural and technical planning levels.
• Participate as a senior member of an Agile team, reviewing, estimating, and completing work promptly while mentoring other developers.
• Enhance and innovate DevOps environments and CI/CD processes.
• Understand and improve cloud resources and AWS deployments, following best practices for software deployment.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiencies and optimizations in business processes through automation and technology.

Skills We Are Looking For

• Over 7 years of proven experience as a professional software developer.
• At least 6 years of experience with Node.js.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• 3+ years of experience with React.
• Experience with AWS resources and CI/CD practices (AWS certifications are a plus).
• Proficiency with Linux concepts and shell scripting.
• Experience with modern development environments using containers (Docker) and CI processes, deploying to Kubernetes or ECS.
• Familiarity with microservices and common enterprise architecture patterns is a plus.
• English proficiency at C1/C2 level.
