We are currently seeking a QA Analyst to join our team and work on innovative projects, including our corporate money transfer web application and mobile app. Using advanced technologies, the QA Analyst will report to the Director of Software Engineering and will ensure the quality of project deliverables, focusing on manual testing while also contributing to automated testing.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing of web applications, particularly new features developed for XE products.
• Keep backend API tests up-to-date through automation while focusing primarily on manual testing.
• Articulate and clearly explain issues, working closely with interdisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
• Learn new systems quickly and work on them independently.
• Collaborate with internal teams to diagnose and resolve test issues.
• Participate in product development reviews and defect resolution processes.
• Design, prioritize, and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts.
• Apply testing and debugging methodologies to ensure product quality.
• Analyze and communicate findings from tests, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
• Perform a range of test levels, including smoke, functional, system integration, performance, regression, and user acceptance.
• Use tools such as Jira and Xray for reporting test results and bugs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual testing, especially for web applications.
• Strong ability to articulate and document issues effectively.
• Proven capability to learn new systems and work independently.
• Experience with creating and implementing test plans and scenarios.
• Familiarity with debugging and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of various test levels and their applications.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or a Quality Assurance diploma.
• Ability to script in JavaScript.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with continuous integration tools like GitHub.
• Familiarity with web automation tools such as Cypress or Cucumber and API automation tools like Postman.
• Exposure to performance testing and JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of .NET, SQL databases, and simple queries.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and Agile delivery models.
• Background in development or finance domains.
