The organization is seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist with Expertise in Dynamics 365 to strengthen its capacity for data-driven decision-making. This position will be based at CIMMYT headquarters in Texcoco, State of Mexico, near Mexico City.

Specific Duties

• BI Integration with Dynamics 365: Lead efforts to integrate Business Intelligence tools into Microsoft Dynamics 365 for enhanced data analysis and reporting.
• Report Development: Create and implement user-friendly reports aligned with organizational objectives and user needs.
• Data Visualization: Present complex data in clear and accessible formats using advanced visualization techniques.
• Customization and Configuration: Optimize Dynamics 365 modules for improved data collection and reporting.
• Data Modeling: Develop effective data models within Dynamics 365 to ensure accurate and insightful reporting.
• Performance Optimization: Collaborate with IT teams to enhance the performance of Dynamics 365 for efficient data processing.
• User Training: Provide training on BI tools, report usage, and Dynamics 365 functionalities to improve data literacy.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on BI and Dynamics 365 advancements and recommend ongoing enhancements.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and align solutions with organizational goals.
• BYOD Functionality: Ensure BYOD capability and data integrity in Dynamics 365.
• Data Entity Activation: Activate and maintain relevant data entities within Dynamics 365.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor data connections between BYOD and the Data Warehouse, resolving issues promptly.
• Report Design Adjustments: Modify and refine report designs as required.
• User Support: Assist users with report access, inquiries, and running reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar roles.
• Proven expertise in developing BI solutions, especially within a Dynamics 365 environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its modules.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated urgency, confidentiality, and commitment to responsibilities and deadlines.
• Intermediate English proficiency (minimum B1 level based on CEFR; an English test will be conducted).
• Key competencies: Critical Thinking, Teamwork, Client Orientation, Problem Solving, Negotiation, and Conflict Resolution.
