About the position

This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role within the epay production engineering team. The position involves working in a collaborative setting to support new business initiatives and maintain the stability of existing systems. The primary focus will be on monitoring tasks and providing Tier 1 support for point-of-sale solutions in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, communicate, and assist in resolving product and production issues within the organization.
• Use various monitoring tools to identify issues across different platforms.
• Serve as a communication liaison between internal teams and external vendors or customers.
• Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting support for production and product-related outages to minimize operational disruptions.
• Offer Tier 1 support to customers, vendors, and internal staff via email, chat applications, phone, and ticketing systems.
• Act as the main point of contact for all business entities.
• Apply operating system updates and make configuration changes to the business server infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the internal development team as needed.
• Document and report product and production issues for proper tracking and resolution.
• Deliver daily reports to support business operations.
• Plan for and respond to service outages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Willingness to work night or graveyard shifts, as the service center operates 24/7, including holidays and weekends.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge in the following areas:
  • Windows Server 2012/2016.
  • Monitoring Windows Server infrastructure.
  • Basic troubleshooting of DNS, DHCP, and IIS.
• Proficiency in general computer skills.
