We are currently seeking a creative and detail-oriented Vehicle Integration Engineer to join our Embedded Software team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of vehicle systems, networking protocols, and diagnostics, particularly J1939. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of electrical and software components into the vehicle architecture, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
• Define, implement, and maintain communication protocols and message formats, focusing on J1939 and CAN.
• Collaborate with the software team to develop diagnostics and fault-handling strategies for vehicle components.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for system-related issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams (design, hardware, software) to define and document system requirements and specifications.
• Develop and execute testing and validation plans to verify system performance and ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
• Commission electronic vehicle systems in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Support production teams in resolving manufacturing and integration challenges.
• Maintain detailed documentation on system integration processes, testing outcomes, and modifications for future reference.
• Identify opportunities to enhance vehicle integration processes and recommend improvements to boost efficiency, safety, and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Systems Design, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle integration, system engineering, or a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of ISO standards.
• Expertise in CAN bus communication protocols, especially J1939. Experience with J1708, J1850, or K-line is a bonus.
• Proficiency with vehicle diagnostics and data analysis tools.
• SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
