Requirements

• Build expertise in your team's code base and platform, ensuring a deep understanding of our systems and technologies.
• Write clean, production-ready code that is well-tested and easy to understand, following best practices for software development.
• Refactor components to improve the codebase, leaving it better than you found it, and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure prompt response to production issues.
• Communicate effectively with your team, be reliable and accountable, and demonstrate a willingness to help others and learn from them.
• Write secure code, avoiding vulnerabilities and ensuring the security of our systems and data, and participate in agile development, sprint planning, and delivery of high-quality software.
• Identify and mitigate technical challenges, bottlenecks, and dependencies that may impact deliveries, and develop reliable observability to monitor and respond to quality issues or outages.
• Collaborate with teammates to resolve complex problems, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a culture of trust, accountability, and excellence.
• Maintain multiple microservices, upgrade them to the latest versions, and remediate security risks found through penetration tests and scans.

Requirements and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with SaaS applications.
• Proficiency with Node.js and experience with Git source control, versioning, and branching.
• Familiarity with AWS systems, including Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, and Security Groups.
• Knowledge of Agile SCRUM model, code coverage, and unit testing frameworks.
• Experience with ticket tracking, microservice architecture, and communication methodologies.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, secure sessions, identity and access management providers, and database queries.
