We are currently looking for a skilled Mid-level Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our background screening platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and will be responsible for building high-quality software and collaborating with our engineering group.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Screening and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, well-tested, secure, and scalable software that meets the needs of our platform. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in software engineering with SaaS applications
• Proven expertise in server-rendered web applications, including vanilla Javascript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
• Recent experience with Go and RoR is preferred
• Experience working with the backend, preferably with Python
• Knowledge of Git source control, versioning, branching, and rebasing
• Experience with AWS systems, including RDS, EC2, Security Groups, CloudWatch, and Ops tools
• Ability to write software in support of a successful web application
• Comfortable working in a globally distributed team with diverse skill levels and experience
• Effective communication skills and ability to engage in constructive conflict
