• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, helping to define the team's roadmap, architecture, processes, and best practices
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and efficient
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and to develop and implement solutions that meet those needs
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring that all code is of high quality, well-tested, and maintainable
• Mentor and support other engineers on the team, helping to develop their skills and expertise
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying that knowledge to improve our services and solutions
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of software engineering principles, including algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming
• Have experience with backend programming languages, such as Python, Golang, Java, or C#
• Have a strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases, and experience with database design and development
• Be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including engineers, product managers, and executives
