To achieve this, we are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing service APIs used by our mobile and web apps, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver great user experiences.

In this role, you will be part of the orchestration team, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and scaling APIs that simplify the complexities of rent payment processing. You will work collaboratively with product, design, and engineering peers to solve pressing problems and drive production rollouts to completion with minimal oversight.

A minimum of 3 years of experience with Java is required for this position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading scoping, design, and implementation for APIs they build.

Requirements

• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Ability to build high-quality APIs to specifications
• Experience with Java frameworks and tools, including Spring and JUnit
• Experience implementing and operating services in distributed environments at scale
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools for maintaining high availability
• Ability to write high-quality code that is testable, maintainable, scalable, and secure
• Good understanding of REST and mobile API best practices
• Great communication skills and ability to work with a distributed team
