As a Functional QA Engineer at Yuno, you will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and dependability of our payment processing systems. You will collaborate closely with the development team to identify, document, and report issues, and assist in creating and executing test plans. 🟣 What Will My Challenge Be at Yuno?

Test Planning and Design:

• Work with senior QA engineers to develop and refine test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for payment processing applications.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios and critical use cases.

Test Execution:

• Execute functional, integration, and regression tests to validate the functionality and accuracy of payment processing systems.
• Document and report defects using a bug tracking system, providing clear and comprehensive information for the development team.

Test Automation:

• Collaborate with the automation team to create and maintain automated test scripts for repetitive and critical test cases.
• Assist in the execution and maintenance of automated test suites.

Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with developers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings to provide updates on testing progress and discuss any challenges.

Continuous Improvement:

• Contribute to enhancing QA processes and methodologies to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and payments technology.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, and testing procedures.
• Generate comprehensive test reports detailing test results, including pass/fail status and any identified issues.

🟣 What Skills Do I Need?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of QA/Software Testing experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Basic understanding of test automation tools and frameworks.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Experience working with Postman and JMeter.
