As a Senior QA Tester in the Automotive sector, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, planning, and conducting both functional and non-functional tests for automotive software applications.
• Analyzing the root causes of detected defects and delivering clear and concise bug reports.
• Collaborating with developers, project managers, and product owners to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Engaging in test strategy and design discussions to enhance product quality and testing efficiency.
• Creating and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives for test processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in software testing within the automotive industry.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive system architecture and communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.
• Demonstrated experience in functional, integration, and regression testing of automotive software systems.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or Zephyr.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• A solid understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve software defects.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 or other automotive functional safety standards is a plus.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
