We are looking for a talented and visionary Mid-Level Game Designer to play a key role in developing the gameplay mechanics, systems, and overall player experience in our video games. You will leverage your industry expertise and design capabilities to craft engaging and innovative gaming experiences. This position demands a solid grasp of game design fundamentals, a successful track record in game development, and the ability to mentor junior designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the entire game design process from concept to final implementation, ensuring top-tier quality and creativity in the gameplay experience.
  2. Develop and implement engaging mechanics and systems that align with the game's narrative and objectives.
  3. Collaborate closely with artists, writers, engineers, and other designers to seamlessly integrate story, visuals, and gameplay.
  4. Produce and maintain detailed design documentation, including game design documents, mechanics specs, level layouts, and rulesets.
  5. Design and prototype gameplay mechanics, systems, and features that push the boundaries of interactive entertainment and captivate players.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. At least 3 years of experience in game design, with a portfolio that demonstrates completed projects.
  3. Strong creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn concepts into engaging gameplay.
  4. Deep knowledge of game design principles, mechanics, and industry trends, with a passion for innovation in interactive entertainment.
  5. Proficiency in industry-standard game design tools and engines, such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms.
  6. Understanding of player psychology and user experience (UX) design, with the ability to create designs that prioritize the player’s experience.
  7. Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving project needs and deadlines.
  8. Published work or a robust portfolio that highlights your design skills and contributions to successful game projects.
