Join OfferFit as a Software Engineering Director and collaborate with our CTO to architect and design a scalable SaaS platform for reinforcement learning.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and build a team of top-notch frontend and full stack engineers working on our user-facing applications.
  • Mentor and guide the team, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Improve developer experience through automation, better processes, and enhanced collaboration.
  • Apply design, implementation, and software engineering best practices to deliver a superior user experience in a cutting-edge ML product.
  • Work closely with teams across UI/UX, Product, Research, and Implementation.
  • Utilize your expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and scalable frontend architecture to create clean, reliable, and extensible UI.
  • Contribute to product strategy, aligning technical capabilities with business goals and market needs.
  • Implement and enhance best practices through continuous training and development for the team.

Tech stack:

  • Web: TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue.js (v3), Vite, Pinia, VueQuery, Node.js, Strapi, PostgreSQL, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Data Science/Back End: Python (Pandas, Polars, Ibis, Spark), SQL, BigQuery, FastAPI (not required, but helpful).
  • Architecture/DevOps: Kubernetes, Airflow, Terraform, GCP (not required for this role).
  • We write well-tested, type-hinted, documented, modular code and use pre-commit hooks, CI/CD, and issue tracking.

Salary and Compensation:

The base salary range for this role in the United States is $235,000-$267,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus ranging from $38,000-$43,000. Additional end-of-year performance bonuses, commissions (where applicable), and/or equity options may be offered. Compensation is adjusted based on the cost of labor in non-US countries.
