About You

We are rapidly expanding and looking to hire talented and ambitious quality engineering professionals in Buenos Aires. As a member of our team, you will participate in automating the validation processes of a microservice-oriented B2B eCommerce platform. We value entrepreneurial spirit and those who bring experience from established organizations. You are a highly technical, hands-on Software Developer in Test (SDET) with a passion for producing maintainable and robust code. You will design and maintain various automation test frameworks to validate our critical services. Our Agile teams—consisting of developers, fellow Quality Engineers, designers, managers, and stakeholders—are distributed across several countries, so clear communication is essential.

What You'll Do and How You'll Make an Impact

• Represent the interests of users and customers by relentlessly pursuing a high-quality product
• Document issues and bugs, diligently moving each bug through its entire life cycle
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks
• Develop functional end-to-end (E2E) tests
• Create performance tests for both backend microservices and user interfaces
• Design and implement API and E2E tests to be executed during the Continuous Development (CD) phase
• Configure and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) test pipelines
• Automate routine tasks and processes to enhance the efficiency of the Quality Engineering team and improve the developer experience with automated tests
• Collaborate with developers, fellow Quality Engineers, product managers, partners, and consultants to deliver the highest quality with each release
• Continuously elevate the standard of exceptional quality by researching and promoting improved quality practices within the team

What We're Looking For

• 2 to 4 years of experience with automation testing
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Strong fundamentals in functional and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing
• Proficiency in Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript for end-to-end (E2E) testing
• Proficiency in K6 for performance/load testing
• Experience with RestAssured and Java for API testing
• Familiarity with Docker
• Knowledge of CI pipeline tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Experience with incident management tools like JIRA
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub
• Familiarity with Agile practices and Scrum workflow
