BASIC PURPOSE.
The Finance Analyst works under minimal management direction, coordinates SAP, Oracle EPM, and other finance-related system activities and operations with Dawn Business users, including development, maintenance, and enhancement of existing SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) module.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of the SAP FI/CO modules and Oracle EPM Planning, addressing user queries, resolving issues, and ensuring system stability.
Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, analyze gaps, and design solutions to meet organizational needs.
Participate in the SAP S/4 HANA project, focusing on the migration of financial processes and data, including testing, training, and go-live support.
Perform system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting within SAP FI/CO, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
Support financial reporting and compliance requirements by developing and enhancing reports using tools such as SAP Fiori, SAP Business Warehouse, Oracle EPM Planning, or related reporting platforms.
Collaborate with IT and external consultants to ensure successful implementation of new functionalities or upgrades.
Document business processes, system configurations, and provide training materials and sessions for end-users.
Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the SAP landscape.
Stay updated on SAP best practices and new features in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA, proactively recommending improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, business administration, information systems or related, or equivalent work experience with applicable associate’s degree.
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Business Analyst, with a focus on FI/CO modules.
Proven experience supporting SAP ECC environments and familiarity with system integrations.
Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, and their application in SAP systems.
Experience with SAP S/4 HANA is a significant advantage, particularly in migrations or greenfield implementations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, finance stakeholders, and end-users.
Knowledge of financial compliance requirements such as IFRS or GAAP.
Experience working with 3rd party off-shore support companies.
Experience with the Baked Goods manufacturing and distribution process.
Ability to support multiple SAP modules.
Ability to support non-SAP applications (3rd party and custom developed applications).
Experience with SAP Integration (PI)/BTP.
Physical Requirements:
