Proven experience writing clear, structured documentation, requirements, or specifications.
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex regulations into structured logic.
Hands-on experience with requirements gathering and user acceptance testing (UAT).
C1 English or higher, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
Experience with tax preparation software.

What success looks like
Within your first 30 days, you’ll understand the platform’s tax logic and document your first state requirements. By 60 days, you’ll write specifications the development team can build from with minimal clarification. By 90 days, you’ll own tax requirements for new state implementations and be a trusted reviewer of product functionality from a tax perspective.
Why this role
You’ll get direct exposure to both the tax and product sides of the business, a real voice in shaping internal tools and product decisions, and hands-on QA experience while collaborating closely with Product, Development, and QA.
