The Job…

  • Lead the design, analysis, and interpretation of projects, from gathering data requirements to processing, modeling, and providing business recommendations.
  • Collaborate with product leadership to develop and monitor KPIs, presenting emerging trends and actionable insights.
  • Oversee A/B testing throughout the entire experimentation cycle, including inception, creation, measurement, and recommendations.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and data science methods to conduct Product Analytics and generate actionable insights for GoFundMe.
  • Identify and promote best practices across the team regarding tools, systems, and processes.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify new analytical opportunities with stakeholders.
  • Partner with data and engineering teams to design scalable and future-proof instrumentation.
  • Contribute to ELT processes as needed.
  • Develop user-friendly dashboards and other analytical self-service tools, and perform ad hoc analyses.

You…

  • 5+ years of experience in developing data analytics and science projects.
  • Advanced skills in data segmentation and manipulation using SQL and Python.
  • Experience with a broad range of statistical and machine learning methods to solve and optimize critical business problems and metrics.
  • Expertise in formulating and driving multivariate and A/B testing.
  • Advanced experience using Python for statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and/or machine learning.
  • Deep experience in writing scalable data transformations with SQL.
  • Strong data visualization skills and experience with BI tools like Tableau or Looker.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and assist with business requests, providing adequate scoping and stakeholder expectation management.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of authoring and presenting insights to leadership and influencing decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of event tracking, database architecture, and Machine Learning is a plus.
  • A Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Engineering, or related areas) is a plus.
